NEXGEN success for Billy auction horses!
The inaugural NEXGEN Young Horse Championships took place at Hickstead and it was day full of success stories for The Billy Stud Auction horses! These 4 & 5 year old classes have been created with a view to showcasing future talents under the style and performance format.
Lizzie Bunn already enjoyed a victory with 2020 auction purchase Billy Mufasa (Billy Mexico x Kannan) in the All England 4 Year Old Championship the previous week and but today it was Billy Be Boss (Billy Congo x Kannan) who topped the leaderboard. Billy Mufasa also impressed the judges finishing closely behind in 4th.
In the 5 year old class it was the lovely 2019 auction reference Billy Marionette (Cevin Z x Billy Congo) who impressed when finishing 3rd. Judge Andrew Saywell said that "All the horses in the top 3 are definite Grand Prix horses of the future!"
